Q1 WHAT IS A BREAD MOULD?

Bread mold is a kind of fungus that is commonly found on bread surfaces. It takes food and nutrients from the bread and causes damage to the surface where it lives. It causes a bad taste to the bread also. But the mold has a place in the industry where it serves as a decomposer that can decompose decayed plants and animals. It appears on the bread surface as a wind blown spore. With adequate moisture and nutrients from the bread, this spore sprouts and grows hair like structures on the bread surface. Once the mold attains a particular growth with paint brush like structures, it starts producing fruiting structures. These structures, sometimes called conidia, contain spores that are blown by wind and spreads to other bread surfaces. Some of the common bread molds are Penicillium, Aspergillus, Rhizopus, Monascus, and Fusarium.

Q2 Some Pictures Of Bread Mould.

QN. WHERE TO STORE A BREAD MOULD??
Keeping bread and surfaces clean and dry, or storing bread in a cold place like a refrigerator stifles the ability of the mold to grow on bread and on counters.

QN. 3 ways to preserve food

canning - involves heating up both jars and produce to kill of germs and then sealing the produce within the jars.

drying - Since before recorded history people have dried herbs, meats, fruits and vegetables to store them for use at a later date. Historians have even credited the ability to store foods in this way with allowing the first advances toward civilization.

vac sealing - a method whereby food is put inside a heavy plastic wrap and all the air removed; then it is sealed.
